AWANA

AWANA

AWANA Club is a Bible-based youth ministry program that focuses on scripture memory, engaging lessons, and group games.

We have a blast each week during the school year with AWANAs. The majority of the kids at TBF are under 10 years old but all ages up to 18 are invited to come.

  • Puggles (Age 2-3): Focuses on “big truths” such as “God made everything” and “God loves us” through play and simple activities.
  • Cubbies (Age 3-5/Preschool): Features handbooks, puppets, and activities to teach basic truths about God, Jesus, and salvation.
  • Sparks (Grades K-2): Combines learning with foundational Bible teaching, building a foundation for knowing Jesus Christ.
  • Truth & Training (T&T) (Grades 3-6): Helps kids explore the meaning of God’s grace and apply it to their lives.
  • Trek (Grades 6-8): Designed for middle schoolers to solidify their faith and understand what they believe.
  • Journey (Grades 9-12): Focuses on equipping high school students to be lifelong disciples of Jesus.

The acronym AWANA stands for ‘Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed’ from 2 Timothy 2:15 “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth,”.
